Tropic of Cancer Beach/Pelican Beach-Exuma

This is the longest beach on the island and is known to be the most aesthetically appealing to the naked eye. It is shaped in the form of a crescent with sensational turquoise water along the coast of Exuma.

Three Sisters Beach - Mt. Thompson

Jolly Hall Beach - Georgetown

Coco Plum Beach

A white sandy private beach that is comprised of very beautiful sand banks. If you are a collector of shells and sand dollars you will enjoy this private beach.

Hamburger Beach/Volley Ball Beach - Stocking Island

It is located on Stocking Island. The name hamburger is derived simply from the items on the beach restaurant's lunch menu. It is frequented by boaters during cruising season. Upon docking, boaters can fulfill their taste buds by eating all different types of hamburgers and sandwiches.

Birding

The Exumas are a great outlet for individuals who enjoy the activity of birding. Bird watchers, hunters and gatherers can enjoy the 28 species of birds that are present on the Island. The bird species found in the Exumas, cannot be found in U.S., Canada or Europe.

Boating

The activity of boating is very prominent and dominant in Exumas. The Island holds yearly activities and competitions. It plays host to many boating competitions such as, The Family Island Regatta, The New Year's Day Cruising Regatta and The National Out Island Regatta. The Exumas possess hidden coves and colored coral reefs that are very well suited for an enjoyable boating experience.

Fishing

The Great Exumas is a great location for vacationers to indulge in their fishing passion. They are reputable for their bone fishing, deep-sea fishing, and reef fishing and fly-fishing. Due to its 6000 feet depth, individuals can experience a wide number of marline and sailfish.

Spearfishing

There are many strict regulations concerning spearfishing. The only instrument that could be used during spearfishing is the Hawaiian sling. Spearing is strictly prohibited in National Sea Parks. Not allowed to spearfish within one mile off the coast of the New Providence, within one mile off the south coast of Freeport, Grand Bahamas and within 200 yards of the coast of all out islands.

Golfing

Although there is only one single golf course on the Island of Exumas, it is a golf course like no other in the world. It is a subsidiary of Exumas Four Seasons Hotel and encompasses Emerald Bay’s peninsula. It is designed by Greg Norman, a renowned gold legend.
